Thank you for stopping by my page to meet my new creations, all rugged up for the chilly winter!

All my bears and critters are hand stitched and made from the most wonderful fabrics, trims and bits and pieces I can find, many collected over the years in wonderful places like antique markets in Belgium or Paris. I love fossicking through the tables laden with goodies for tiny pieces of lace or old flowers that I can take home and make a bear to preserve the treasure forever. Mind you, sometimes it can take years to find the perfect personality to use a special piece of lace or flower! But the feeling of satisfaction when the right piece finds the right bear is well worth the wait!

Because of time differences and my work schedule, I will probably be asleep when the show opens- should you have a question I will get back to you as soon as possible. Again due to the time differences I might be a little slow to acknowledge your purchase, but I will do so as soon as possible.

A little about me... I have been making bears since the early 1990's specialising in small/miniature bear since around 2000. My bears live in collections in many countries around the world, from my home country of Australia, to New Zealand, Singapore, the USA, Canada, UK and Europe. It's always such an honour when someone adds one of my little ones to their collection.

For Australian buyers I do accept bank transfers, message me if you’d like this option however bears do tend to go quite quickly during the show so PayPal is often a better option. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR CONTACT PHONE NUMBER IN THE PAYPAL NOTES- a contact number is now required by the Postal Services and I won’t be able to ship unless I have it, sorry

SHIPPING:

I will be sending the bears out on Tuesday via Express Post. I am sorry but I cannot guarantee arrival before Christmas. To make things simple for the show, I’ve given one postage cost for worldwide shipping- Australian buyers will receive a postage refund of $13

Rudy

Rudy is hand stitched from two shades of vintage long pile velvet and has five cotter pin and disc joints, wired arms and English glass eyes. Her face is needle and scissor sculpted and features airbrushed shading. She wears a red velvet ribbon collar and a removable reindeer antler headband accented with a silk ribbon rose.

Rudy holds her hobby horse red nosed reindeer that I stitched from vintage long pile velvet. He has English glass eyes and an embroidered red nose, and two golden jingle bells dangle from his velvet collar

Rudy and her reindeer are AU$135 plus postage $25, total AU$160, approx US$103

Coco

Coco is hand stitched from two shades of Lucy long pile velvet, and has 5 cotter pin and disc joints. Her face is needle and scissor sculpted and has airbrushed shading. She wears a dusty plum coloured silk bow at her neck accented with a golden snowflake charm- it’s a bit hard to see in her photos but it is the same as Candy and Plum Pudding’s further down the page.

On her head she wears another silk bow topped with a velvet flower in shades of plum.

Coco is AU$115 plus postage, total AU$140 or approx USD $90

Snowflake

Snowflake sits approx 5cm/2” small, or stands approx. 7cm/2.5” and is hand sewn from vintage and modern long piled velvets. She has five cotter pin and disc joints, wired arms for gentle posing, and English glass eyes. Her face is needle and scissor sculpted as well as gently airbrushed to bring out her features.

Her her little paws keep warm in a muff made from Japanese silk plush, which also trims her removable pixie hood. A velvet ribbon sash with a rhinestone buckle completes her snowy day outfit.

Snowflake is AU$125 plus shipping, a total of AU$150, or approx US $97

CANDY

Candy is hand stitched from palest pink plush German mohair. She sits approx 10cm/4” tall and has five cotter pin and disc joints, English glass eyes and her face is needle and scissor sculpted. Her face is gently airbrushed to being out her sweet personality.

Candy wears a silk bow around her neck with a golden rhinestone snowflake charm, and a matching silk bow topped with a vintage velvet millinery flower on her head.

Candy is AU$145 plus $25 postage, approx US$110

FROSTY

Frosty sits approx 5cm/2” small and is hand stitched from vintage and modern long pile velvets. He has five cotterpin and disc joints, English glass eyes and a needle and scissor sculpted face. His face features soft airbrushed shading and his long pixie hood is removable and allows his little ears to peep through. It is trimmed with Japanese silk plus and he wears a velvet ribbon belt with a rhinestone buckle.

Frosty holds a vintage style bottlebrush tree with glass glitter ‘snow’ and is priced at AU$135 plus $25 postage (approx US$103)

PLUM PUDDING

Plum Pudding sits approx. 5cm/2” small and is hand stitched from two shades of vintage long pile velvet. She has five cotter pin and disc joints, English glass eyes and has a needle and scissor sculpted face as well as gentle airbrushed shading.

She wears a collar of vintage tatted lace and a golden rhinestone snowflake charm. She wears a velvet ribbon and plum coloured velvet flower on her head

Plum Pudding is AUD$115 plus $25 postage, total of AU$140, approx US $90

Ginger

Ginger is hand sewn from two colours of luscious vintage long pile velvets, has English glass eyes and a needle and scissor sculpted face. Her arms are gently wired to pose her hugging her little gingerbread cookie friend, and she is trimmed with pastel pink and blue rickrack for that gingerbread look, accented with tiny glass Japanese beads.

Ginger sits approx 5cm/2” small and is AU$135 plus $25 express postage (approx $103 US)

Let It Snow

This little girl is handstitched from vintage and modern long piled velvets. She has English glass eyes , 5 cotter pin and disc joints with wired arms for gentle posing. Her face is airbrushed and needle and scissor sculpted and her removable hood is trimmed with Japanese silk plush.

She comes with her little wooden sled and vintage style pink bottlebrush tree. She is AUD$135 plus postage of $25 (approximately US $103)
